Porcelain (Smooth) An economy body giving a high degree of translucency
at a slightly lower temperature. Suitability:Casting and Throwing. Firing

Red Terracotta (Smooth - Medium) An extremely popular general purpose clay

Grogged Red Terracotta (Medium) The addition of grogg in this body improves
strength in throwing and increases resistance to cracking and warping especially on larger pieces. Suitability: Throwing and Modelling. Firing Temperature: 1080C - 1160C Fired Appearance: Light red becoming darker as temperature is increased CP1006 Raku Stoneware (Smooth to Medium) A very fine firebrick grogged clay.
Suitability: Throwing and Hand Building. Firing Temperature:
960C - 1060C or 1220C - 1280C Fired Appearance: Buff to Grey CP1007 Toasted Stoneware (Medium to Smooth) A carefully
blended Stoneware Fire Clay and Etruria Clay with a fine grogg additive. Pleasant reduction under normal oxidising conditions.

1140C - 1250C Fired Appearance: Warm Buff CP1008 Birch Stoneware (Medium to Smooth) A good all round
general purpose clay. suitability: Hand Modelling, Throwing and Casting. Firing
